Diversity

Another great advantago of August is the diversity of fishing.
Sockeye. red salmon, are still running and the trout & char
fishing picks up in August.

Although the King Salmon season closes July 31st,
in early August  fishing for silvers, it is not uncommon
to do battle with a mighty king. Quite an experience on light tackle!
