The birch willow & aspen have come to life again.
And...just like at your house, the robins & swallows have returned.
Eagles are putting on courtship displays you can't imagine.
My favorites, the Arctic Terns, will fish with us daily.
Their flying  makes an eagle green with envy.
Then, on the other hand, there are moose calves!

People associated with schools just aren't here yet.
America just doesn't gear up to vacation mode until Memorial Day.
COME EARLY & BEAT THE RUSH !
May is just not America's vacation month, but
It's as good as king fishing gets in Alaska.

How's The Weather ?
You'll run out of "staying power" before
you run out of daylight.
"Clear as a bell & she's a little nippy in the AM !
Bundle up & dress in layers. some of it's comin' off!
It'll be a great afternoon.
And "afternoon sun" you'll notice at 10:00 PM
You won't see the sun rise in the east on this trip!

If it's rainy & overcast, it'll likely be in the fifties - sixty.
Over cast cloudy weather will be warmer in the morning
From the South, our vacation place, dress warm!

At Its Finest !

There are "more king salmon" moving up Cook Inlet
this month than at any other time of year.

Those kings entering the "Kenai & Kasilof Rivers" are entering
rivers that are at their "lowest water levels" and "best fishing conditions".

May ~ June "Kenai" Kings are just "passing by" and tend to be
chrome bright, energized, aggressive "biters".
